Lindsay graduated from the University of Missouri in 2004 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Respiratory Therapy.  She worked for two years at the University Hospital and was a member of the Children's Hospital Transport Team.  Lindsay is now a clinical instructor and teaching Pharmacology and Pulmonary Pathophysiology didactic courses while obtaining her Master's in Education in Health Education and Promotion from the University of Missouri.
