MRI/CT Program Information

 

Who should consider the MRI or CT Certificate Program?

Radiologic Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, and/or Radiation Therapists who are registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technologists Certification Board (NMTCB)**.

**All non-ARRT registered applicants should check with the program prior to submitting application materials.

What Can the MRI or CT Certificate Program Do for Me?

Upon completion of the Certificate in MRI or CT, ARRT-Registered Technologists or Therapists and NMTCB Registered Technologist will be prepared to take the Advanced Level Examination in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Computed Tomography offered by the ARRT.

Computed Tomography Technologists and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists work in a variety of health care settings ranging from freestanding clinics and major trauma centers to equipment sales and applications. A successful technologist possesses ample knowledge of the theory and practice of Computed Tomography and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging as well as sufficient clinical experience.
