Pat Tew is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Program Director for the Radiography Program in the Department of Cardiopulmonary and Diagnostic Sciences, School of Health Professions . She joined MUs Radiologic Sciences Program in 1999 after practicing as a staff technologist at the University of Missouri Hospital Center, a level one trauma center. Her duties in the Radiography Program have included development and teaching of didactic courses (face to face, online, problem based learning), supervision and coordination of student clinical experiences, recruitment of students, advising of students, and promotion of public service and research in conjunction with the Missouri Mobile Health services. She enjoys using creative approaches to actively involve students in the learning process. In 2003 she obtained her national advanced imaging certification in computed tomography. Since coming to MU, she has been honored as a Wakonse Fellow and received the 2005 Undergraduate Excellence in Teaching with Technology Award. |
