Biography:
A Missouri native, Dr. Minor holds a B.S. degree in physical therapy from the University of Kansas.
She earned her Masters of Science in Public Health in community health education and her Ph.D. in human performance from the University of Missouri.
She is a Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Immunology and Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Missouri
She has served on the faculty at the Washington University School of Medicine, Program in Occupational Therapy and at the University of Missouri School of Medicine and School of Health Professions.
She is an associate editor for the journal, Arthritis Care and Research.
Dr. Minor is Principal Investigator and Director of the Central Missouri Regional Arthritis Center (CEMRAC) and Co-Principal Investigator of the DOE, NIDRR Missouri Arthritis Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (MARRTC).
A current project examines Arthritis and Exercise.
Dr. Minor is past president of the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals, a division of the American College of Rheumatology, and past-chairman of the Missouri Arthritis Advisory Board.
Dr. Minor has published in the area of exercise in rheumatic disease and was the recipient of the Arthritis Foundation 2001 Virginia P. Engalitcheff Impact on Quality of Life Award.
