Renée Stucky, Ph.D. is a clinical assistant professor in the MU Department of Health Psychology. She is Administrative Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Psychology Services at Rusk Rehabilitation Center. Her clinical and research interests focus on individual and family adjustment to illness and catastrophic injuries, such as spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury, trauma related difficulties and chronic pain. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology (emphasis in Health Psychology) in 1997 from the University of Missouri-Columbia with internship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Following a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology completed in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she joined the faculty at the University of Missouri in December, 1998.
