Daniel Orme, Ph.D., ABPP,
is Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Health Psychology. His undergraduate degree is from Millikin University and he received his doctorate in counseling psychology from Indiana State University. He completed a clinical psychology internship at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, San Antonio and a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Orme is a retired USAF officer. While on active duty he managed several multidisciplinary clinics, supervised psychology interns and medical residents, was tri-service Neuropsychological Consultant for a 4 state region, oversaw special education services for 1,100 children in Europe, served on the USAF Hospital Services Inspection team, and directed a USAF-wide pilot candidate evaluation program. Dr. Orme joined the MU faculty in July 2001 where he conducts pediatric neuropsychological evaluations. He serves on national and state committees, is ad hoc reviewer for three professional journals, and has published in the areas of assessment and ethics. Dr. Orme is board certified in clinical neuropsychology.
